Juanita Sizemore, born on August 17, 1948, in Hyden, Ky, to the union of the late Fred & Emma Napier. She departed this walk of life July 18, 2025, at the age of 76.
Juanita worked as a nurse aid for Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital. Juanita enjoyed her dogs and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also had a deep love for flowers.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Sizemore; one son Lawrence Baker; one brother Carl Napier; one daughter-in-law Henrietta Burton; one grandson Michael Burton; one great-granddaughter Laken Turner; and one special nephew Carl Wayne Napier.
Juanita leaves behind her son Jefferey Bowling of Thousandsticks, KY; two daughters Emmalene Wells (Ricky) of Somerset, KY and Tina Eldridge (Bill) of Thousandsticks, KY; Eight grandchildren Lance Turner, Samantha Turner, Lawrence Brandon Osborne, Austin Brent Osborne, Mekeshia Chuntel Rogers, Heather Sexton, Kelli Turner, and Tyler Eldridge; and fourteen great-grandchildren Jordan Maggard, Steven Maggard, Emmalyn Turner, Addilyn Turner, Weston Turner, Conor Osborne, Brantley Osborne, McKenna Osborne, Hudson Rogers, Brynlee Eldridge, Presley Pennington, Patrick Pennington, Jordan Combs, Lincoln Combs; special friends that felt like sisters Polly Jean Napier and Angie Osborne and a host of other family and friends that mourn her passing.
The funeral service to commemorate the life of Juanita Sizemore will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Teddy Couch and Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Scottie Napier will be reading the obituary.
Interment will follow in the Jack Napier Family Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY with Brandon Osborne, Lance Turner, Seth Price, Brent Osborne, Scottie Napier and Rufus Turner serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family may gather for visitation after 6 p.m., Tuesday evening, July 22, 2025, at Rockhouse Pentecostal Church.
