Jude Carlini, 69, of Owego, NY was called home on June 2, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones at Wilson Hospital. Jude was predeceased by her mother, AnnaMay Ryan-Kruemberg and Father Vincent Carlini. She is survived by her son, Josh Carlini-Vott. She is also survived by her sisters: Susie Carlini-Rosso, Marisa Carlini, Barbara (Bobi) Kruemberg and Stephanie Carlini as well as her step mother, Claudia Carlini. Her nephew, Rett Kruemberg and nieces Sadie Carlini-Lynch and Chloe Carlini-Lynch as well as family members and friends John Gray, Frank Raso, Thomas Lynch, and Denise survive her.
Jude was first and foremost, a devoted and loving mother to her son. She was a very talented photographer and lover of art. After spending many years residing in New York city, she returned to her hometown area to continue her education and Masters Degree in Mathematics. Jude dedicated her life to education as a life-long learner and elementary school teacher. At Union-Endwell she served as the 4th grade teacher specializing in Math and Science for over 20 years. She was well respected by all of her colleagues, students and administrators as the teacher who was able to produce results and have great impact on each student's success. After her retirement in 2014, Jude enjoyed her times with friends and family as she was dealing with several health issues. She recently took residence at Good Shepard Village and greatly loved her beautiful cottage and her wonderful new friends who showered her with love and support. Jude's strength of character and love for her son sustained and motivated her for the last several years as she faced her health challenges head-on. Jude will forever be remembered as a beautiful, brilliant, artistic woman of great strength who inspired everyone around her to keep learning, keep growing and keep becoming the best person you can be!
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 7th 2:00-4:00 pm at Good Shepard Village, Main Community Hall. All are welcome to attend.

Ms. Carlini was my 4th grade teacher and truly still my favorite teacher I´ve had. She instilled of love of math and science at a young age and was one of the influencing factors for me to go into engineering. Her kindness, passion for educating, and warm spirit were contagious.

I joked with Jude often in high school at SV. She had a great sense of humor and was always smiling. I was in many of her classes and loved hanging out with her and all the SV gals. God speed sweet Jude!

Jude, you always lit up the room when I saw you. Whether working together at the mall or dating. No doubt heaven will be brighter with you there.

I will always remember Jude as a wonderful, high school friend. We were usually seat -assigned in close proximity, due to our last names, and we had lots of laughs. She never had a bad word to say about anyone, and was pure joy to be around! I am so sorry to hear of her passing. All my best to Jude's family and those closest to her. She is already missed by this friend. tc
