Mrs. Judette Gail Adams

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Judette Gail Adams, formerly of Belton, South Carolina. She entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Washington Medical Center. Judette, born on March 9, 1950, in Anderson County to the late Fred Latimer and Lethett Coleman Latimer, carried the love of her hometown with her throughout her life.
After moving from Belton at a young age, she settled in Maryland after spending some time in Ohio. Judette devoted her life to caring for others, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Bowie State University and dedicating over twenty-six years of service at Prince George's Hospital. Her compassion as a nurse touched countless lives, reflecting her kind and nurturing spirit.
Judette was lovingly married to Robert Adams, who has since passed, leaving her to cherish their shared memories. She is survived by her two beloved sons, Curtis and Anthony Latimer, and Juanita Latimer (wife of Anthony) all of whom reside in Maryland, and her three cherished grandchildren, Khiry Latimer, Christopher Collins, and Anju Latimer. She is also survived by her four brothers, John Ed Latimer, James Michael Latimer, Jerry Latimer, and Georgie Latimer, as well as her sister, Reese Latimer, all who continue to call the beautiful foothills of South Carolina home. In addition to her parents and husband, Judette was preceded in death by three sisters, Annette Latimer, Almeta Latimer, and Queen Hester Latimer, and one brother, Charles Douglas Latimer, who will forever be remembered in their hearts.
A graveside service honoring her life and legacy will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at New Hope Baptist Church. Holloway's Funeral Home of Belton is handling the arrangements. We invite all who knew and loved Judette to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and the warmth she brought to so many.
