Judi Cockrell Obituary

Judi had a fulfilling career in education support and mortgage banking, where she formed lifelong friendships. She found joy in tending to her yard, reading, and spending precious time with her granddaughters.
Judi is survived by her daughter, Michelle Cockrell Graybeal (David) of Wilson, NC; her granddaughters, Kamryn and Sydney Graybeal; her sister, Jackie Howell Wall; and her sister-in-law, Janice Crusenberry Howell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Judi's life will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Rev. Gene Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Judi´s family I am sooooo very sorry to hear of your loss. I will miss her very much because we have kept in touch since we have both retired. She was very good to me as my boss lady.
She has been thru a lot in her sickness and now she is at peace.
