Judith “Judy” Amonte

Judith "Judy" Amonte of Hingham, passed away on January 21, 2022.

Judy was the loving mother of Sharon Notarangelo and her husband Paul of Scituate; and Lisa Lloyd and her husband Christopher of Santa Barbara, CA . Sister of Joseph Amonte of Homossasa, Florida, and the late Louis Amonte, Frank Amonte and Carlene Brennan. Cherished grandmother of John Notarangelo, Jacob Greenspan and Allison Notarangelo. Judy is survived by her sister-in-law Dianne Amonte of Home Sound, Florida and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judy was a talented and generous women with a deep love for her family and friends. She adored her grandchildren and loved seeing them mature into young adults. She loved nothing more than to share her baking, crafting and knitting skills. She loved to knit baby blankets for newborn babies of relatives and friends. She also donated many to South Shore Hospital's maternity ward. She set aside eight blankets for her future great- grandchildren. She was an avid Boston Bruins fan and had season tickets for many years and rarely missed a game. She loved to travel and enjoyed many trips around the country to visit her large family, but had a special place in her heart for Aruba and Italy.

Judy will be remembered for her generosity, love of family and friends along with her quick wit and delicious apple pies.

At Judy's request services will be held at a later date.
