Judith was born July 13,1943, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Davis) Wilch, and married Peter Benda in Chicago, IL, She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for John Crane Inc. and served as a city council woman for the City of Crystal Falls. She enjoyed backyard gardening with her daughter-in-law Kara and son Victor; she also loved nature and watching birds. She should be remembered for her kind and gentle soul, her kind heartedness, and her good sense of humor. Her radiant smile could light up any room she entered. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all.
She is survived by her two sons, Victor Pawlowski and Pete (Kara) Benda; her daughter, Patricia Miller; 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Laurel, Caleb Rosenthal, Ean Bruette, Michael (Angie), Danielle, Rebecca Coonrod and Elizabeth (Jake) Conery; 9 great-grandchildren, Adrian, Tristan, Nik, Tessa, Jacob, Nora, Marissa, Taylor and Christopher; her God-daughter, Kelle Clements; a brother, Edward (Jackie) Wilch; and 3 sister-in-laws, Carol Maroney, Karen Pearson and Mary Wilch. She is preceded in death by her Parents, loving husband Peter, brother Larry Wilch and sister-in-law Donna Vassar.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
