Judith Anne Bornemann passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, at 90 years young, with loving brothers and sisters in Christ by her side.
Judy was born on June 27, 1935, in
Schenectady, New York, to the late Frederick and Gertrude (Fagel) Bornemann. In the summer of 1946, the family moved to
Eatontown, New Jersey, where she lived for most of her life.
Following her father's passing, Judy took on the responsibility of caring for her mother Gertrude and grandmother, Katherine Fagel, demonstrating her lifelong commitment to her family.
A longtime member of Eatontown Methodist Church (now Monmouth Grace United Methodist Church), Judy was deeply involved in church life. She participated in the Women's Society, the youth group, the senior choir, and served faithfully on various committees.
Judy earned her Bachelor of Education from Douglass College at Rutgers University and her Master's in Education from Kean University. She enjoyed a 42-year career as an elementary school teacher at Mahala F. Atchison Elementary School, teaching second and third grades until her retirement in 1999.
In her free time, Judy loved reading with her book club, cooking and baking for others, and staying connected with fellow retired teachers and college alumni. She also faithfully cared for her uncle, Karl Von der Ahe, until his passing.
She is survived by her cousin Thaisa Beach and her husband Charles; their sons, Charles F. Beach Jr. and Michael Beach, wife (Risa); and grandchildren Ryan and Rachel.
With gratitude, the family extends heartfelt thanks to Steve and Suzy Staudinger for their faithful care and support in Judy's final years.
