Judith Burrell Obituary
Judith Ann Burrell, 83, of Kitzmiller, passed away on November 10, 2023, at Peace Health Care at Dennett Road. Born on March 12, 1940, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late DeWan Wilbur and Violet Anna (Goller) Burrell.
After graduating from Southern High School, Judith furthered her education by attending Frostburg State College and obtaining a Bachelor's degree. She taught at Snow Hill School in Salsbury, Parole School in Severna Park, and Kitzmiller School. She was a member of the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and Kitzmiller VFD Ladies Auxilliary. She enjoyed playing piano, going on walks, and she adored her pets.
She is survived by three siblings, David Kent Burrell and wife Kimberly of Kitzmiller, Doris "Kay" Lloyd of Concord, NC, and Dolly Leonard of Severna Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Patricia J. Baldwin, Donna N. White, and Edward F. Burrell.
Ms. Burrell's request for cremation was honored. There are no services scheduled at this time.
The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is honored to be serving the Burrell family. Cremation services provided by CJS CREMATION SERVICE, LLC, an affiliate of C & S Fredlock, locally owned and operated in nearby Davis, WV.
