Judith (Miller) Capurso, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Judy was the beloved wife of the late Cosimo "Jimmy" Capurso and is now joyfully reunited with him. She is survived by her children, Blaine Capurso (Cindy), Mark Capurso (Kristen), and Terry Morgan (Ross); her five grandchildren, Eric Speakman (Christie), Kasey Flanders (Ryan), Ashleigh Capurso, Lucas Capurso, and Caden Capurso; three "bonus" grandchildren, Mackenzie Morgan, Ross Morgan and Paige Morgan; along with her five great-grandchildren, Max, Sage, Reese, Roman, and Thia.
Judy is survived by her siblings, Sharon Martini (Art), Douglas Miller (Blanche) and Denise Boyle (Dan); and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Judy dedicated 25 years of service to the Federal Reserve Bank, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, known for her unwavering support and enthusiasm for her favorite team. Judy also had a deep love for movies and musicals, a passion she enjoyed sharing with friends and family.
With her tenacious and spirited nature, Judy approached life with unwavering determination and a sense of humor that won the hearts of everyone she met. Judy was a beloved friend to many residents and staff at Grace Manor of North Park, where she spent her later years. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine friendship made a lasting impression on all.
Friends and family are welcome, 5-8 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2024, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM, Friday, August 23, 2024, in SS Simon and Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
