Judith Corrigan Obituary

Judith M. Corrigan, 78, of Rockford, passed on to eternal life on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Judy was born October 12, 1947, the daughter of William and Marie (Oakley) Joley. A 1965 alumna of Boylan Catholic High School, she was proud to be part of the second graduating class of the Boylan Titans.

Judy married Alan "Ace" Corrigan on May 21, 1983. She became a born-again Christian on April 1, 1985, also known as the day she "fooled the Devil." It was during this faith journey that Judy became a relentless fighter for the unborn.

Above all else, Judy was a mother, and she devoted her life to raising her two children as a stay-at-home mom. She will be remembered for her love of music and AM talk radio, her impeccable fashion sense, her love of sunshine, her strong creative eye, her dedication to helping at her children's schools, and her patriotism. Her life leaves a lasting impression on her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her son, Zachary Corrigan, of Rockford, IL, and daughter, Chyanne Corrigan, of Atlanta, GA. Judy is also survived by her brother Bill (Nancy) Joley, sister Diane (Phil) Wing, and sister Teresa (George) Boswell, all of Rockford, IL. These family members remained by her side throughout the entirety of her final chapter.

Judy was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Alan, on August 20, 2017. She was also predeceased by her parents, and sister Carol.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 18th, from 2 to 4 PM at Lino's at the Mercato, 8400 E Riverside Blvd, Loves Park, IL.
