Judith Dianne Niten Cox

Mrs. Judith Dianne Niten Cox, age 76, of Westfield , passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Today she is celebrating in Heaven with her husband of 60 years, Bobby Leon Cox. They were a perfect example of what parents should be. Mrs. Cox was born on October 18, 1948 in Patrick County to the late Edgar and Icy Barnard Niten. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mike Cox (Rae), Sue Cox (David Reynolds), Jerry Cox (Lisa), Randy Cox (Karen), Melissa Kinton (Jeff); ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Martin and Nancy Plaster; brother Edward Niten (Sarah). In addition to her parents Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Leon Cox; brothers, Earl and Elbert Niten. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Brown Mountain Baptist Church with service conducted by Rev. Buford Jessup and Rev. Eddie Carter . Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the church. The family would like to say a special thanks to Josh for taking care of granny and looking after her.
