Judith A. De Boer age 78 formerly of Neenah passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday September 26, 2025. Judy was born on October 29, 1946 in Chicago daughter of the late William E. and Leona (Regar) Fravel. Judy grew up in Neenah, attended St. Margaret Mary School and graduated from Neenah High School in 1964. She also attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. On January 8, 1966 she married the love of her life Richard De Boer at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Judy worked at Kimberly Clark for 26 years, retiring as an Executive Secretary in 2003. Judy and Rich spent a majority of their retired life in North Carolina and belonged to St. Marks Parish in Huntersville where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Newcomers Club. She also belonged to the Red Hat's Society, was a member of the Hamptons HOA and was responsible for the clubhouse, reservations and new neighbors' orientation. Judy enjoyed traveling, visiting Hawaii, The Netherlands, Hilton Head and many other places. She loved the Packers and watching her grandkids play sports.
During retirement Judy learned to play the piano (thank you Mr. Neil). She was the best hostess, enjoyed dinner clubs and Pampered Chef and she loved Chico's. She was always put together with the best outfits and jewelry. Judy took care of Richard and her family with grace. She was a caregiver to families with young children up to the elderly. She loved her pet's Suzie, Muffin and Ginger and enjoyed walking, water aerobics and going to Lake Santeetlah for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Judy is beloved and will be missed by many whose lives she touched.
In addition to her husband Richard, Judy is survived by her children Angela (John) Noone, Thomas (Kimberly) De Boer and Robert (Christine) De Boer; her grandchildren Jack and Colin Noone, Jake and Paige De Boer and Willem, Ella and Ian De Boer. She is further survived by her brother Charles (Laverne) Fravel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fred (Nancy) De Boer, Jantina (Donald) Adriano, Johanna Morrow and Susan De Boer and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents William E. Fravel and Leona (Regar) Fravel, her brother James (Mona) Fravel, infant brother Tommy, her brothers in-law Pim and Hantje De Boer and in-laws Willem De Boer and Maria (Spaan) De Boer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 17, 2025 at Greenlawn Memorial Park 1451 Green Valley Rd., Neenah. Visitation will be on Thursday October 16, at the Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and also on Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
