Judith K. Detamore

Judith K. Detamore, age 72, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at 1:12 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion.
Judith was born on April 29, 1953, in Wells, Minnesota, to Donald and Lavonne (Mithum) Streeter. On April 30, 1982, she married Floyd Detamore, and together they shared a life filled with love and family.
Judith dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed simple pleasures, especially playing Bingo. She spent her younger years crocheting beautiful pieces for loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Detamore of Marion; her son, Donald (Gretchen) Nelson; step-daughters, Chanda, Melanie, and Samantha; granddaughter, Molly; grandson, Lucas; and many great-grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lavonne Streeter; her brothers, Wayne Mithum and Richard Streeter; and her sister, Joyce Streeter.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following visitation, a service to celebrate Judith's life will begin at 11:30 am. Pastor Dan Van Cise will be officiating with burial taking place at Marion National Cemetery.
