Judith Duba (nee Wright), a cherished lifelong resident of Lake County, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on May 26, 2025. Born in Evanston to her parents, Robert and Ruth Wright, Judith's life was distinguished by her quiet strength and unwavering devotion to her loved ones.
A remarkable 45-year breast cancer survivor, she exemplified resilience. Judith found great joy and solace in her garden, and deeply cherished her role as a mother. She played an active and loving part in raising her grandchildren, an experience she held dear.
Her focus in life was her profound faith and her family, and through these, Judith left an indelible mark on their lives. She will be dearly missed, her memory treasured by all who knew her.
Judith is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee, her children Robb Niemann and Less (Michael) Boyd; her grandchildren Josh Becker, Laurel (Mitch Wolin) Becker, Jake Becker, Max Niemann, Alex Niemann and Luke Niemann; her great-grandchildren Milo Becker and Juliet Wolin; her sister Virginia Jacobs; her former daughter-in-law Dorit Niemann and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Peter Wright.
