Robert Joseph Schreiber, 37, passed away peacefully, February 9, 2026. He was deeply loved by those who knew him.

Bob was a gentle soul with a steady and determined spirit. His natural caretaking instincts led him to a career as a paramedic, where he took great pride in serving others and was always ready to help those around him. That same strength and resolve carried him through a courageous battle with cancer. A thoughtful philosopher at heart, Bob faced his diagnosis with grace, strength, and quiet bravery. Bob found joy in the simple comforts of life, especially in the love of his dogs, Grace and Gus, who meant the world to him.

Bob is survived by his mother, Patty; his father, Joseph; his brother, Kevin; his sisters, Emily and Rebecca; and his nephews, Louis and Thomas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Brian; and his grandparents, John and Patricia Ivinson, and W. Vincent and Monica Schreiber.

Visitation for Bob will be from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM on Saturday Feb 14th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville with a funeral service starting at 12:30 PM.
