Judith Eckmann Obituary
Judy was a Collinsville High School graduate, and a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville. She was a homemaker and in her younger years, she was a daycare cook. She enjoyed thoroughbred horseracing, decorating for the holidays, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernice (nee Wilson) Eckmann.
Surviving are her two sons: Patrick (Beth) Murphy of Collinsville and Tim (Joan) Murphy of Collinsville; two grandchildren: Julie Murphy and Jason (Dawn) Murphy; two great-grandchildren: Blake and Owen Murphy; and a brother, John (Linda) Eckmann of Granite City, IL.
A private memorial mass will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Mike Haag celebrant. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois, St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation, Partners for Pets, or mass intentions at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Memorials can be made at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
