Judith Joanne Forrest

YOUNGSTOWN - Judith Joanne Forrest passed away on December 11, 2025, at Windsor House at Omni Manor.

She was born on December 21, 1933 in Corry, PA, a daughter of Frank and Margaret Bender.

Judy married Jack Foster in 1955 and moved to Youngstown in 1958. They were married for 10 years and had 4 children, Karen, Kathleen, Susan (Megan) and 1 son, Kevin, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

She later married Robert Forrest and had 1 child, Lisa. Additionally, there were 7 step children. Judy and Bob were married for 42 years until his death in 2010.

Judy attended YSU, earning her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in social work. She worked in this field until her retirement in 1998.

Judy had many crafting hobbies that kept her busy. She was an excellent seamstress. She was also actively involved with the Youngstown Area Intergroup, attending meetings and conferences for over 45 years.

She leaves behind her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also, many very special friends, Kim, Linda, Helen, and so many more.

A Memorial service will be celebrated at 1pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave.
