Obituary of Judith Kathryn Fox
Judith Kathryn (Loewen) Fox was born on October 25, 1948, to Henry and Mildred (Benson) Loewen in St. Paul, MN. She was the youngest of 5 children. Judith graduated from South St. Paul High School. She had two children: son Michael and daughter Brenda.
Judy's passing leaves a huge whole in the heart of her family and friends, but she leaves them with many cherished and special memories.
Her love of travel ventured her to Germany and Panama to visit her son, Michael, with so many memories made. She also looked forward to her yearly visits to FL to visit her daughter, Brenda. She loved being out in the ocean, enjoying a grouper sandwich and a Pina Colada.
Judy enjoyed traveling to see her brother and sister-in-law (Jim & Joann) up at their lake home. Every morning, she would sit outside on the swing, drinking her coffee and watching the birds. She also had a love for fishing.
If she wasn't watching Hallmark or an Elvis movie, she would have Elvis playing in the background. For her 55th birthday, she received a surprise trip from her daughter to fly to Memphis and finally visit Graceland.
When Judy became a grandma, she could not have been more excited. She had endless love for her all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was so excited when they would visit her in MN and take them on trips.
Her two dogs Jake and Snickers were her beloved companions.
Spending time with family and friends, all brought Judy joy. Her smile, laugh, hugs and a heart of gold will be deeply missed.
Judy is survived by her daughter Brenda Sathre of FL, brother James (Joann) Loewen of MN, grandson Evan (Hannah) Sathre of NC, granddaughters Kelsey Sathre, Paige Holt, and Brittney (Tyler) Beaver all of SC, and their families. And all other beloved family and friends.
Judy is proceeded in death by her parents Henry and Mildred, sister Arlene Merrell, brothers Dale & Russell and her son, Michael.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to all the staff at Region's Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to attend Judy's memorial service on May 23rd, 2024, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights (2075 70th St E). Visitation is at 1:00 PM and service is at 2:00 PM, with lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research, Emanuel Lutheran Church, or a charity of choice, in honor and memory of Judy Fox.

I am one of Judy's cousins, and because we always lived a distance from each other, we didn't see each other often, but I loved the times we had. Her infectious smile and warm conversations, her faithful cards and sweet nature stayed with me. I am sad to hear of her passing, and send my deepest sympathy to her family. Loretta Loewen Gorman
