We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Judith Ann Grippando who left this world on June 13th 2025 at the age of 74. Judy was born December 10th 1950 to Lovern Edward and Beaulah Marie Smith in Kansas City, Missouri where she was a life long resident until moving to Texas in 2013.
Judy attended Southwest High School in Kansas City Missouri graduating in 1968. She obtained her Licensed Practical Nurse Degree for Kansas City Area Vocational Technical School. Judy worked her Nursing career in the field of Geriatrics caring for residents of various area nursing homes until her retirement. In her early twenties she worked for the Kansas City Police Department, Children's Mercy Hospital and Travelodge where she made several close lifelong friendships.
Judy leaves behind three children: Tracie Renee (husband Darryl Jolly), Kimberly Marie and Jeremy Joshua Beebe. 12 Grandchildren: Tracie's Children Kirsten, Amanda (Husband Ryan), Joseph (Wife Sonia), Tanner, Austin, and Conner. Kimberly's Children Samantha, Dannielle (Husband Ryan) and Cameron. Jeremy's children Shawn, Michael and Anthony. She was also blessed with 9 Great Grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lovern and Beaulah, her sister Patsy, her life partner Forrest Ray Duffey.
Judy will be missed and thought about often. We are comforted knowing she is now in Heaven in the company of her family and friends who proceeded her who she dearly missed.
Memorial Services will be arranged at a later date for family and close friends.
Family request no flowers donations if desired can be sent to her children directly to assist with cost of final arrangements
