Judy has been the only public person I had a chance to get to know personally, and what a life she has had. When I heard that she was to join my shift at Virginia Hospital Center, I could hardly believe my ears. I am awestruck once again to learn of her death. She made the world a better place for many place.

I am brokenhearted to hear the news about Judy. She was a brilliant, funny, lovely and steadfast friend. Our years working together at the Kennedy Center were filled with laughter, mischief and our mutual
love of the performing arts. Her death leaves a special void in my life that cannot be filled.
