Judith Ann (Judy) Guenter (nee Mink) of Linthicum, Md. died peacefully at home on Saturday, July 6, 2024.  Judy was 73 years old.  Born on March 29, 1951, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Geraldine Helen (Young) Mink and Gene Kenneth Mink.

Judy was a loving, constant companion to her husband, Rick, for 54 years.

The big sister of Gina and Valerie, she was raised in Glen Burnie, Md., graduated from Glen Burnie High School, and married Rick in 1970.  She worked for the School Construction Program of the State of Maryland from its inception for 40 plus years and retired to her home in Linthicum.

Judy loved her family, good neighbors, boating, the beach, and hosting family parties.  She explored beaches on the Atlantic coast, the Pacific coast, the Canadian maritime provinces, Hawaii, and Eleuthera.  She was a member of the Beach Plums.

In addition to her husband, Richard Gerard (Rick) Guenter, Jr., she is survived by her sister, Valerie Jo Horan and her husband Tim, her brother-in-law, Charles (Gus) Guenter and his wife Jean, and sister-in-law, Claire Kwiatkowski and her husband Paul.  She enjoyed the company of her nieces and nephews, Erica and Mike Cazalas, Daniel and Morgan Getz, and Timothy Michael Horan.  By marriage she also enjoyed her additional nieces and nephews, Steven Guenter, Rowan and Adrian White, Mathew Guenter, and Sarah, Amanda, and Emma Kwiatkowski. 

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Gina Marie Godfrey.

The family will have a celebration of life for Judy in the near future.
