Judith Ann Hamilton

Judith (Judy) Ann Hamilton, 82, of Sweetser, IN, passed away at 2:56 P.M., Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Vita Assisted Living, Marion, IN. She was born on Oct. 5, 1943, in Peru, IN, the daughter of Ancil and Mary Glee (Bowland) Fisher. She married Melvin Hamilton on Oct. 28, 1960 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2019.

Judy was an avid flower gardener and butterfly watcher. She was a member of the Roseberg Church of God, Marion and had a strong faith in the Lord. Her love of God was only matched by the love she had for her family, especially doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her children Keith (Julie) Hamilton of Lafayette, Sheri (Charles) Pemberton of Prince Lake, Brian (Shellee) Hamilton of Kokomo and Robert (Susan) Hamilton of Amboy; grandchildren Jordan (Kristie) Hamilton, Alexa (Derrick) Randel, Alyvia (Will) Meguschar, Aaron (Lindsey) Hamilton, Eric (Gabbie) Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, Courtney (Charles) Sohn, Joshua Woodcock, Brandi Harmon and Brooke Simpson; also surviving are 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin and a brother Robert "Bob" Fisher.

A service celebrating the life of Judith (Judy)Ann Hamilton will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Amboy, IN, with Chaplain Ronald Weller officiating. Family and friends will gather from 12 Noon until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home to Alzheimer's Association.
