Judith Diana Hester, 67, passed away on July 26, 2025. She was born on August 13,1957 to the late Clarence and Rometta Norris. She was married to the late Danny Hester on March 21, 1995. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers Anthony Norris and Keith Norris; and a sister Barbara Wilkerson.
Judith is survived by her children Teresita Norris of Lenoir, NC, Andrea Norris of Oxford, NC, Aaron Kinton of Bullock, NC, Tamsin Norris (Gregory) of Henderson, NC, and Danny Hester of Charlotte,NC. She also cherish her memories of her siblings Tim Norris (Ginni) Of Spokane Valley, WA, and Teresa Freund (Ken) of Spokane, WA. Thirteen Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Judith was educated in the Lincoln County Schools, Reardan, WA. She also attended Vance Granville Community College Henderson, NC where she received her Associate degree in Nursing. She worked many years at Certainteed Corporation of Oxford, NC until receiving her Degree in Nursing. Judith retired from Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake, WA.
Judith was loved by so many. She was known for her beautiful smile and always listening and offering support. She will be truly missed. "She is Gone from our Sight, but never from our Memories, Gone from our Touch, but never our Hearts."
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 4:00pm at 127 Penn Avenue Oxford, NC (Public Works Building)
