Judith J. (Dunfee) LaRose, 75, of Wellsboro, passed away Thursday September 1, 2022 at UPMC Harrisburg. She was born October 10, 1946, in Easton, PA to Earl Raymond and Margaret Jean (Rudlin) Dunfee. She graduated from Easton Area High School, and worked for Mack Printing in Easton, PA. On December 30, 1966 she married Robert A. LaRose with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Judith was an Episcopalian, and served as the Recording Secretary for the Wellsboro Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed puzzles, music, and gardening. She loved animals, especially the dogs who shared her life.
Judith is survived by her husband: Robert LaRose of Wellsboro; a sister: Melissa Dunfee of Atlantic Beach, FL; a nephew: Joshua Philips; and three nieces: Beth Duckworth, Amy Elis, and Suzanne Lewis.
In accordance with Judith's wishes her services have been entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, and there will be a private celebration of her life at a later date. To share a memory or condolence with her family, visit: www.tusseymosher.com.
