Judy spent her entire life in Wausau, where she graduated from Wausau High School in 1958. Throughout her life, she worked as a baker and cook for the Wausau school district while raising her children, later transitioning to a role as an accounts payable processor in a local business. A passionate sports enthusiast, Judy was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Brewers, and all Badgers sports, often found at the ice rink cheering for her son and grandson during hockey games. Family was central to Judy's life; she cherished gatherings for holidays and meals, deriving immense joy from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Marlyn Masanz, daughters Patti Timken and Debbie (Steve) Spiegel of Wausau, son Jeff (Tina) Nickel of Ringle, along with her brother Richard (Linda) Weik of Wausau, and brother-in-law Darrel Nelson of Rib Mountain.
