June 19, 1942 - May 20, 2025
Judith Louise Mattle (nee Pinter), 82, of Mays Landing, returned to the angels unexpectedly on May 20, 2025 after a brief illness. Judy was born in Phoenixville, Pa on June 19, 1942, to the late Alexander and Beatrice Pinter. Judy grew up in Phoenixville and graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1960. She then proceeded to attend the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1963. She was a Registered Nurse for 52 years and worked in multiple places such as the Atlantic City Medical Center, Essex Allergy Associates and the Atlantic Allergy & Asthma Center before retiring in 2015.
She married her soulmate, Joseph J. Mattle of Mays Landing, in 1963 and they made their home in Mays Landing. Judy leaves behind her husband, Joe; her two children, Joey Mattle (Roslyn) and Debbie Crompton (Jim); and her three adored grandsons; Jimmy and Robby Crompton and Ryan Mattle. Judy was a kind, compassionate soul and touched so many lives whether it was personally or if she happened to provide a skin-test or an allergy injection to you. One of her favorite things was bird watching in her backyard, especially watching her hummingbirds. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 30th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing with a service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at the Richard E. Squires Veterans Cemetery located in Estell Manor, NJ.
