Judith Ann "Judy" Monk

Judith Ann "Judy" Baldwin Monk, 82 of Charleston passed away on April 25, 2022 at Hubbard Hospice House West.She was born May 11, 1939 to the late William Baldwin and Ocie Midkiff.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Monk; daughters, Donna Carpenter and Brenda Monk; grandson, Tommy Carpenter; granddaughter, Crystal Boggess and great granddaughter Gracan Monk.
Judy retired from Appalachian Center for Independent Living.Her quick wit and humor would light up a room and always made people laugh.
Judy's first love was her family, but her second love was the Dog Track.You could see her there several times a week.
Survivors include her son, Jimbo Monk (Cindy); grandsons, Eric Monk (Audrey) and Logan Monk; granddaughters, Tiff Boggess (Cayla) and Anna Carpenter (Jeremy), 10 great grandchildren and a host of friends and extended family who are also left to mourn her passing.
In keeping with Judy's wishes, there will be no services at this time and her body will be cremated.
