Judith Moses Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lakeside Funeral Home - Woodstock on Mar. 11, 2026.
Judith Garland Moses, 85, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026.

Judy was born on May 2, 1940, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to Garland George Hall and Yettiv Virl Quinn Hall. She lived a life devoted to her family and was known for her kindness, warmth, and quiet strength.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Kenneth Moses; her brother, Terry Wayne Hall; and her sisters, Rae Perrotta, Eileen Vertullo, and Barbara Allen.

Judy is survived by her son, Jon David Moses, and daughter-in-law, Allison Moses, of Alpharetta, Georgia. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Courtney Grace Moses and Brooklyn Reese Moses. Judy cherished every moment spent with her granddaughters and found great joy in watching them grow and supporting them throughout their lives.

Judy is also survived by her sister, Rita Smith.

Judy retired from APAC-GA after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, she treasured spending time with family, especially her granddaughters who were the center of her world. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including relaxing with family and friends and always appreciating a good margarita.

Judy will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle spirit, and the many lives she touched throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Judy's honor.

Judy's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew and loved her.
