Judith G. 'Judy' Fellows Mudd, 75, of Midland, died Sunday afternoon, December 14, 2025, at the Toni & Trish House. She was born on June 27, 1950, to the late Leo and Edith (Cowgill) Fellows. After the death of her parents, she moved to Sanford and was raised by her brother Gearhart and Sandra Fellows. Judy graduated from Delta College with an associate's degree and was employed as a secretary/bookkeeper until she married Ray Mudd on June 10, 1978, at the Sanford Free Methodist Church.
After the birth of their daughters, she poured her life into raising and homeschooling them.
She is survived by her husband Ray Mudd, daughters, Kristy (Thomas) Watkins and Sabrina (Rev. Nate) Tester; cherished grandsons, Seth Tester and Russell Watkins, and her sister-in-law Sandra Fellows. Judy was preceded in death by her siblings: Effie (Frank) Swoffer, Gearhart Fellows, Victor (Pat) Fellows, Henry (Mary) Fellows, and by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services for Judy will take place 1 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Floyd Church of God, 1015 W. Chippewa River Rd. Interment will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens. Judy's family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12 noon until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Toni & Trish House.
