Judith Powers Obituary
Judith M. Powers nee Mason, age 85, of Palatine, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Bernie Powers. Loving mom of the late Jean & Jim Denam, Kathie Elliott, Linda (Duke McHale) Purtell, the late Roger Powers, Joseph (Cindy) Powers, Jr., Brian (Kim) Powers, and David (Christine Kielbasa) Powers. Doting Grandma of Bobby Elliott, James (Theresa Roble) Denam, Scottie (Hannah) Powers, David (Alex) Denam, Carrie (Jeramie) Slater, John (Melissa) Davis, Jennifer (Chris Johnson) Elliott, Erica (Robert Jures) Elliott, Brittany Purtell, Kyle Purtell, Jakob Powers, Cheyenne Hoppe-Mormance, Delaney Powers, Travis Powers, and Brady Powers. Dear Great-grandma of Malakai, Emma, Haley, Owen, and Bruce. Adored daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Morris) Mason. Cherished sister of the late Barbara Dion and the late John Mason. Beloved aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Visitation Friday, March 7, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Avenue (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road), Wheeling. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 am with the Mass at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Judy's name to St. Jude's at www.stjude.org/donate.
