Judith Riemer Obituary

Judith Ann Riemer
Jacksonville - Judith Ann Riemer ,87, of Jacksonville passed away January 28, 2026, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. She was born September 22, 1938, the daughter of Roy and Vivian Lovekamp. She married Rev. Frederick Riemer on June 22, 2002, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2025.
She is survived by her three sisters, Donna (Curt) Riske, Linda Lovekamp, Paula (Bill) Versen; nieces, Jenifer (Stan) Kruse, Tricia (Chris) Hahn, Heidi (Chad) Henke, Katelyn (Andrew) Lloyd; nephews, Erik (Meridith) Versen, Brett (Marissa) Versen, Ryan (Corie) Versen; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, Roy and Vivian Lovekamp; and one niece, Amy Lunsford; and her husband Rev. Frederick Riemer.
Judy worked over 45 years as a secretary for OBGYN with Dr Hartman, Dr Simmons, and Dr Roy. She loved to play golf and go bowling. Judy was a loyal Salem member, a member of the ladies' guild, LWML, the bell choir, vocal choir, and traveling around to see family with her husband Fred.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 Wednesday February 4, 2026, at Salem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville. The family will greet friends from 9:30-11:00 Wednesday at the church prior to services. Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church. Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com

I´ve know Judy for many years. A more delightful person you´ll never meet. She was such a good woman and was such a faithful person. She loved the Lord and I know she will be with Him now. Condolences to the family at this difficult time.
