Judith Ann (Charland) Roberts, 76, died Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Ayer Valley Rehab in Ayer.
Judith was born in Gardner on September 18, 1948, a daughter of the late Louis and Rita (Moison) Charland
She was the wife of the late Leon A. Roberts, who died August 6, 2020.
Judith leaves her five children, Michelle Davidson, Gregg Roberts and his wife Kathleen, Monique Ducharme and her husband Ronald, Timothy Roberts and his wife Colleen, and Kristen Rich; ten grandchdhildren, Wayne Davidson, Abigail Boykin, Marissa Roberts, Tyler Rich, Cody Ducharme, Victoria Rich, Gabriel Roberts, Lorelai Roberts, Jayden Rich-Roberts, and Sophie Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Liam Boykin and Kinsley Boykin;, six step-grandchildren, Faith Randall, Kristine Begins, Monica Davidson, Dylan DaSilva, Brianna Denhartog, and Tyler Denhartog; her siblings, Gloria Bourgeois, Francis Charland and his wife Sandra, and Priscilla Vallere and her husband Peter; and severl nieces and nephews.
She is also predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Paul Charland.
She was raised in Gardner and was a 1966 graduate of Gardner High School. She lived in Winchendon for most of her life. She had lived in Florida for 17 years until 2020, when Leon passed.
She worked at Rich's Department Store, Aubuchon's, and for Simplex. When she lived in Florida, she worked for Beall's department store.
She attended Higher Ground Church in Gardner, and the Upper Room in Apopka. She enjoyed doing crosswords, word search puzzles, and puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475, with a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. to honor both Judith and Leon.
In lieu of flowers, Judith's family has requested that memorial contributions be made in her name to the Upper Room, 1234 E. Main Street, Apopka, FL 32703.
