Judith M. Rodgers age 78, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at UPMC Hamot.
She was born in Erie on February 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Edwin and Rosemary Schweitzer Hodges.
Judy was a loving wife, mom, grandma and great grandma who dedicated her life to her family. She also was an avid reader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John “Skeeter” Rodgers; two sisters, Roszane Hodges and Patty Hodges Rodgers and a brother, Edwin Hodges.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Rodgers; three children, Sherry Rodgers McBride (Brian), Debra Rodgers Burge (Wade) and Jody Rodgers (Latoya); 10 grandchildren, John Rodgers (Ashley), Cody McBride (Deanna), Joshua Rodgers, Caitlyn McBride (David), Hailey Burge (Taylor), Samantha Rodgers (Josh), Ashley Burge, Jenna Rodgers, Jadisha Carson and Jayona Carson; 8 great-grandchildren, Skylar Rodgers, Adalynn Dougherty, Emma McBride, Oliver Rodgers, Lincoln Rodgers, Harper McBride, Jackson Meyers and one on the way, Alexandria Judith Ann McBride; and several nieces and nephews.
