Judith "McCarthy" Spognardi

Judith (McCarthy) Spognardi, 77, of Medfield, MA, sadly passed away on August 27, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Arthur Spognardi; her children, Anna Spognardi, Anthony Spognardi and Daughter in-law Carolin Hetzner; and the light of her life, grandson Max. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna McCarthy and her brother, Ronald McCarthy. She is also survived by beloved bother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a loving group of friends.

She found joy in the simple things: a big Sunday meal with her family, a good book, a good show, a quiet afternoon in her garden, and long conversations with her friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4pm-7pm, a brief prayer service will begin at 6:30 pm, at the Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller St., Medfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Rosie's place, https://www.rosiesplace.org/.

Judy was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
