Robert Marshall Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 15, 2025.
Robert Charles Marshall (Bob) of Dallas, Oregon, died on August 6, 2025. Bob was born in Boston, MA, on June 27, 1942, son of the late Charles Henry Marshall and Dorothy Moore Marshall.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Pamela Clarridge Marshall, formerly of Medfield, MA. Father of Donna Marshall Clancy and her husband Ed of Millis, MA, and John (Jack) Robert Marshall and his wife Sarah Sherman of Littleton, MA, Bob was a loving grandfather to Jack and Sarah's children, Rachel, Mark, Stephen and Mollie. Bob is also survived by his sister, Claire D. Shaw of Medfield, MA, and by many nieces and nephews. A 1960 graduate of Medfield High School, Bob and his family moved to Oregon in 1977, where he forged a successful career as a finish carpenter, building not only his home, but leaving his mark on hundreds of other homes with his attention to detail and quality workmanship. Bob had many repeat clients in the region surrounding Pedee, Dallas, Monmouth and Corvallis. Bob and Pam loved travelling around the country in their camper, particularly in the southwest, where they visited ghost towns and other vestiges of the Old West. Bob also enjoyed photography, reading, learning and collecting books about World War II. Bob supported Pam's love of dolls by building many beautiful cabinets to house them.

A private Celebration of Life for the family was held at Bollman's Tribute Center in Dallas on August 12, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oregon Humane Society, Salem Campus, or Delbert Hunter Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Dallas, OR.
