Judith Ann Stuhr

Judith "Judy" Stuhr, age 81, of Maple Lake, died Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Park View Care Center in Buffalo with family at her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery, east Maple Lake. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Judith Ann Weber was born on June 23, 1944, in Northfield, Minnesota, to Harold and Doris (Kolb) Weber. She graduated from Roosevelt High School with the Class of 1962. Following her high school graduation, she pursued her Registered Nurse degree and embarked on a career that spanned over 35 years in nursing. Judy touched countless lives during her time at Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, and Buffalo Hospital, ultimately finishing her nursing career at Park View Care Center in Buffalo. In retirement, she volunteered at St. Timothy Catholic School in Maple Lake, continuing to share her passion of caring for others.

On April 23, 1966, Judy married Harry R. Stuhr, Jr., at Immaculate Conception Church in Minneapolis. Shortly after, Judy and Harry moved from St. Louis Park to Maple Lake, where they raised their three daughters. She loved spending time at the cabin on Lake Mille Lacs, visiting the casino with Harry and Carol, and working countless hours on her craft projects. Christmas Eve was a particularly special time for Judy, as she meticulously planned for the celebration year-round. She took immense joy in attending her grandkids' events and savored every moment with each of them. Family was central to Judy throughout her life, she was fortunate to have them close and they were blessed by her love and care.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Stuhr Jr. of Maple Lake; daughters, Jody (Tim) Tuffs of Monticello, Tracy (Robert) Schluender of Monticello, and Kristi (Joe) LaTour of Maple Lake; grandchildren, Ryan Tuffs, Eric Tuffs (Erin), Adam (Kaitlyn) Tuffs, Erin (Zac) Foster, Emily (Zach) Nordin, Joe Schluender (Chloe), Jake Schluender (Sophie), Michael LaTour, Kate (Dylan) Rohlin, and Olivia LaTour (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Jackson and Mackenzie Nordin, Ella and Ember Foster, and June Tuffs; sister, Carol Weber of St. Michael; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy's grandsons will serve as urn bearers. Krista Elsenpeter and Shannon Paumen will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
