Judith Ann "Judy" (Sainsbury) Vanoster, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, in Newark following a brief illness.
Judy was born on April 28, 1951, in Newark, the daughter of the late Ralph Levi and Norma (Boley) Sainsbury. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School, class of 1969. She worked in the housekeeping department at Chapel Grove Nursing Home in Heath.
She is survived by her husband, Jay, her mother-in-law Sheila Acord, her stepdaughter Tosha; sister Janet (Phil) Newman of Buckeye Lake, Larry (Ruth) Sainsbury of Hebron, Jackie Sainsbury of Hebron; uncle, Nevin "Uncle Nub" Boley of Wooster; along with many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Norma Sainsbury; Great Nephew Levi Newman, Toni Lee Toller (Woodman) and beloved brother-in-law Gary Webb.
Judy loved life and enjoyed working puzzles, card games, gardening and giving donations to the needy. She was a wonderful person and will be missed tremendously and she will live forever in our hearts. Smile when you think of her and be kind to one another.
Honoring Judy's wishes there will be a private family gathering, followed by cremation and inurnment in Fairmount Cemetery, Jacksontown.
HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, Kirkersville is honored to care for Judy and her family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, 2669 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, Ohio 43055.
