Judith Via, née Berry was born on March 9, 1931 to John &
Verneda Berry in Selma, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor's
degree and became a public school teacher where she
instilled a love and knowledge of music to countless
classrooms of students. She married Robert Via on May 23,
1968. They had one son, Evan who loved and cared for his
Mom until her passing on June 13, 2025.
Judith was preceded in death by her wonderful parents,
beloved siblings, and her precious husband all of whom she
was anxiously anticipating being reunited with.
She is survived by her son, Evan and his wife, Katie; as well
as several cherished nephews and nieces.
Ms. Judy will be fondly remembered as a spunky, kind,
generous lover of faith, music (especially her piano), family
and friends.
Per her request there will be no service.
