Judith Wadas Obituary
Judy was the beloved mother of Victoria Muma (Wadas) and her husband Scott Muma; Christopher Wadas and his wife Christy Wadas; Susan McClure (Wadas); and Deborah Wadas. She was a cherished grandmother to Renee Peterson (Muma); Tyler Muma and his wife Allyson Rogers; Amber Gregg (Wadas) and her husband Brandon Gregg; Ayden McClure; and Josilyn Wadas. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Gavin Peterson, Emmalyn Peterson, McKenzie Peterson, Sawyer Gregg, and Hudson Gregg.
She is also remembered by her brother Donald Flick. Judy was predeceased by Her husband Kenneth Wadas and her siblings Janet Flick (Darr), Kathryn "Kay" Flick (Huspen), Margaret "Peggy" Flick (Wixted), and Charles Flick.
Judy had a lifelong passion for crafts that brought joy not only to herself but to countless others. Whether crocheting intricate patterns, knitting warm garments, painting delicate ceramics, or exploring new artistic mediums, she poured love into every creation. One of her most treasured roles was running the ceramics program at Fish Lake. There, she became a beloved figure among both recurring visitors and permanent summer residents who looked forward to Saturday craft time with Judy. Her warmth and enthusiasm made each session special-especially for the children she welcomed with open arms and treated as if they were her own.
Known for her generous spirit and caring nature, Judy touched many lives with her willingness to help others. Her kindness left an enduring impression on all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 348 W. Mill Street, Wauconda IL, 60084 at 10am on Friday, June 6, 2025.

My most enduring memory of Aunt Judy is sitting on her lap listening to her singing "Puff, The Magic Dragon" to me at the campground near Road America. I am so sorry and am praying for you all. Mary Beth Lathrop (Darr).
