Judy was married to my mother´s brother. She was always present in my life. I am grateful for her help and compassion during difficult times. She was my rock.
My aunt was a pragmatic person and very astute. She was well informed about current events. I already miss those conversations.
My father died the week before she died. The day after his death, I was sitting at her kitchen table and getting comfort from her and my cousins.
I have a flood of memories. She was passionate about baseball. She invited me to attend what would be her last River Cats game. She and my uncle hosted Fourth of July celebrations, and their home became the family gathering spot after the older generation passed. She was the matriarch of our family. I will forever miss her.
