Judith Ann "Schmidt" Withrow

Judith Ann Withrow, age 84, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Judy was born July 1, 1941, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Dorothy and Elton Schmidt. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Withrow; a daughter, Wendy Mullikin; Daughter-in-law, Suzie Epperson; Son-in-law, Ron Spilethof; two sisters and one brother, and a fur-baby, Jaxson.

Judy is survived by sons, Mark Withrow, Ray (Stephanie) Dewitt, Robert (Sheila) Withrow, Steve (Tame) Dewitt; daughters, Karen Withrow, Kelly (Joe) Sumpter, Lisa Spliethof, Ianna Dewitt; a son-in-law Rick Mullikin; a fur-baby, Teddy; grandchildren, Ashlee Gaunce, Katelin (Ben) Mullikin, Kayla (Eric) Lewis, Michael (Mariah) Withrow, Kenna-Rae Epperson, Heather (Tommy) Ballinger, Matthew (Jess) Gaunce, Samantha (Danny) Cox, Brittany (Rex) Sumpter, Austin (Brianna) Sumpter, Morgan (Logan) Stafford, Shaila (Alex) Sumpter; great-grandchildren, Ashton Gaunce, Colton Gaunce, Irelyn Gaunce, Rowan Lindsay, Jasper Lindsay, Lennox Lindsay, Gabby Villasana, Selena Villasana, Sophie Villasana, Clay Carson, Myiah Withrow, Tomas Ballinger, Rylee Ballinger, Jaedynn Gaunce, Addison Roe, Sadie Cox, Neyland Cox, Karsyn Cox, Alivia (Gage) Banks, Aubrey Banks, Azlynn Banks, Gracelynn Sumpter, Eastyn Sumpter, Kimalee Sumpter, Houston Stafford, Taityn Stafford, Oaklee Stafford, Whyatt Lea, Kaden Lea, Kaylee Lea; Family Friends, Donelle Judy and Scott Gaunce; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends from Ken's.

Judy was a devoted employee at Ken's New Market for 34 years. She was the kind of person everyone leaned on. Through every challenge, she showed us what it meant to be strong, steady, and full of grace. Her family was her world, and she made sure each of them felt supported, protected, and deeply loved.

She had a deep love for music that filled her home and her life. Whether it was a favorite song playing in the background or a moment shared singing along, music was one of the many ways she brought joy to those around her. More than anything, she will be remembered for her laughter. She had a way of making people smile, even on the hardest days. Her sense of humor was genuine, and unforgettable; it's something those closest to her will carry with them always.

Her love did not end with her passing. It lives on in her family, in the lessons she taught them, and in the strength she passed down to each of one of them. That love will continue to guide her family and keep them going. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
