Judy Rae Barton passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17th, at 10:59 p.m.
Judy lived her life with a heart full of laughter, love, and strength. She had an incredible sense of humor and was always cracking jokes, even in the hardest of times — a true reflection of her bright spirit and her ability to bring light to everyone around her.
She loved animals, flowers, and the simple beauty of life itself. Her greatest joy came from the love she shared with her son Joe and her beloved dog, Buggy. Judy faced her battle with remarkable courage and grace, showing everyone what true strength looks like.
Judy also shared a very special bond with her son’s fiancée, Hedi. The two were not just family but the best of friends. Judy often said that Hedi was “the daughter she never had,” and the love and laughter they shared brought her so much joy and comfort.
In her final days, Judy was surrounded by love and care from her son Joe and Hedi, whose compassion and devotion brought her peace.
To honor Judy’s memory and her love of nature, a tree will be planted in her name — a living tribute that will continue to grow strong and beautiful, just as Judy did throughout her life.
Her laughter, her kindness, and her unbreakable spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
“Though she may be gone from our sight, her roots remain — deep in the hearts she touched, and in the life that will continue to bloom in her memory.”
