Judy Lynn Bennett, age 73, of Grand Rapids passed away Monday, September 1, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Bennett Sr.; children, Cindy (Jason) Kelsey, Buddy (Katie) Bennett; grandchildren, J.J. Kelsey, Blake Bennett, Drew Bennett, Claire Bennett; sisters, Ethel Thebo, Mary Jane Story, Shirley Lawton, Barbara Herring, Carol (Jim) Morehouse, Betty Rich, Joan Lipsomb; brothers-in-law, Chuck Bennett, Greg Bennett, Denny Bennett, Doug (Michelle) Bennett, Dan (Star) Bennett, John (Kristi) Bennett, Tom Bennett; sisters-in-law, very special sister-in-law Sally (Bob) Gable, Diane (Scott) Blaisdell; very special friend Vonnie Sandner; sister-in-law, Sandy Bennett; and many other family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John (Ethel) Rich; in-laws, Russ (Dag) Bennett; brothers, Jack Rich, Jim Rich, Bob Rich, Bill Rich, and Joe Rich. Judy was a graduate of Creston High School in 1970. She was a copartner for 46 years of B&B Chimney. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren attending every game they played, going to the casino, fishing, and entertaining in her backyard. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a Celebration of Life at 8pm at O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Rev. Ron Thebo officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
