Judy Glenn Botts (Kirby) Birchfield, who loved to be called "Momma" or "Nanny," departed her loving family on April 16, 2022. Judy, age 61, was born in Scott County, TN on June 22, 1960. She was born to the late Roy Glenn Botts and Janice Byrd Botts. Judy was best known for always putting her soul into anything she did. She lived up to her Cancer sign, being the bright, free-spirited woman, she was. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and friends. Judy remained the fun, witty, comical woman until the very end.
Judy is survived by her two daughters, Amber Kirby- Stephens and Ashley Anderson; grandchildren: Hailey Nicole Stephens, Anna Christine Stephens, Katelynn Marie Anderson, and Madison Sage Anderson; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Johnny Fritts; along with many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Judy was a devoted mother of two by her late husband, Timothy Kirby of London, KY. She was passionate about serving her Lord and Savior as a member of Calvary Missionary Church. Judy enjoyed music of many genres. She loved to play brain games, collect purses, and study astrology. She loved any animal, especially her beloved puppy dogs. Judy loved life in general and will leave a permanent mark on many lives. She will be dearly missed. With heavy hearts we celebrate our loved one going on to a better place. A special thanks to Signature Healthcare in Rockwood for their excellent care and making Judy feel at home for the past 8 years.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19th at Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street in Lenoir City. A celebration of Judy's life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 20th Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, 8939 Baker Highway in Huntsville, TN. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens.
