Judy Carlson Obituary
Judy graduated from Phelps High School in 1960. She married Richard D. Carlson Sr. on Sept 29, 1962. They ran Carlson Construction Company and both drove bus for the Phelps School District for many years. Judy was known for her homemade treats for the students on her bus. She was an avid gardener and canner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack of MD, sister, Geri (Robert) Brown of Land O'Lakes, WI, brother Edward (Gail) of Florence, WI, a grandson, Jason Paquet of Rhinelander, WI and her husband 27 years prior to the day of her own death.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Donna) Carlson Jr. of Phelps, WI, daughter, Maxine (Wayne) of Hurley, WI, two grandsons, Richard Carlson III of St. German, WI, and John (Jamie) Paquet Jr. of Three Lakes, WI and one granddaughter, Angela (Joel) Chmiel of Phelps, WI. Ten great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lifelong family friend Ken Kugler and good friend Gayle Bublitz.
A private family service was held per her request.
