Myra J. Zaroski

Myra J. Zaroski, age 81, of Rhinelander, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Tomahawk Health Services in Tomahawk, WI. Born Myra J. Staples on January 23, 1944, in Lake County, IL, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Louise (Eiserman) Staples.
A 1963 graduate of the Phelps High School, Myra spent her early years working at her family's resort in Conover, WI. After having four boys, she later worked at the Eagle River Nursing Home and volunteered for Cub Scouts with her sons. A passion for crafting, she shared her creativity volunteering in area schools to help students make craft projects to bring home to their families. Myra loved her pets, most recently her black cat, Baby. She will be missed by all those she has touched in her life.
Myra is survived by her sons, Marty (Carolyn) Will, of Brantwood, WI, Shawn (Toni) Will, of Rhinelander, WI, and Chad (Sandy) Bacon, of Eagle River, WI; and her brother, Thomas, of Florida. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Louise; her son, Rory; and her brother, Allen; and her sister, Katherine.
In accordance with wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials are appreciated to her family in care of her son, Shawn Will. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
