In Loving Memory of Judy Fay Smith
With heavy hearts, the family of Judy Fay Hogan Thompson Smith announces her peaceful passing on September 3, 2025. Born on February 2, 1948, Judy lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Judy was a nurturing soul whose selfless spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She loved unconditionally, extended grace freely, and lived each day in service to others. Her children were the center of her world, and she always ensured their needs were met with compassion, strength, and quiet resilience.
She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Roberta Bailey and Kathy Youngblood; her sons, James Thompson (and wife Bridgett) and Quinton Thompson (and wife Gerri); her daughter, Sandy Smith; as well as 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warmth and wisdom.
Judy is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Joanne Hogan, and her former spouses, James Thompson, Albert Smith, and Ray Dyson.
Her legacy of love, care, and steadfast dedication to family will continue to inspire all those who knew her.
