Judith (Bresnahan) Glessner was born on August 5, 1942, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, the daughter of Dave and Helen Pearl (Martinson) Bresnahan. She attended Hanover High School and graduated with the class of 1960. Judy was previously married to Raynard Langenbau and they were blessed with two children. On May 5, 1979, she was united in marriage to John Glessner at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Judy held a variety of jobs during her working career, including helping out at several nursing homes, as a secretary for Traer High School, a waitress at Stones restaurant in Marshalltown, a para-educator at Anson Elementary, teaching pre-school at the YMCA, and working with a group at CIRSI. In her free time, Judy enjoyed playing cards, golfing, skiing, reading, watching movies (she loved a good mystery or love story) and baking pies. More than anything else, she loved spending time with her family. Judy was known for fearlessly embracing new technology and was always buying the newest gadgets.

She is survived by her children: Tracy (Randall) Hersom of Urbandale, Dale (Heidi) Langenbau of Garwin and John Marvin Glessner of Colorado; her grandchildren: Summer (Jay) Beichley, Cole (Hneiva) Langenbau, Cooper Langenbau and Nathaniel Hersom; her great-grandchildren: Eduardo and Ezequiel Langenbau; three siblings: Jean Lunney, Gary Bresnahan and Wayne Bresnahan all of Weymouth, MA; brother-in-law Rick (Carrie) Glessner of Marshalltown; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Glessner; her parents, Dave and Helen; and her first husband, Raynard Langenbau.
