Judy Ann Hahn Trowbridge

Judy Ann Hahn Trowbridge, passed away peacefully on June 22,2025 at the age of 75 in Bakersfield. Born and raised in Bakersfield, Judy graduated from Garces Memorial High School in 1967. She lived in San Francisco, Honolulu, Oxnard, and eventually returned to the place she always called home, Bakersfield. She attended Cal State University Bakersfield and earned her teaching credential for Special Education. Judy dedicated her professional life to helping children with special needs at Beardsley School District, where she made a lasting impact on countless lives. Judy loved traveling, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. She had a deep affection for animals, and was always surrounded by beloved furry companions. She especially cherished her time near the ocean, and found great joy RVing at Pismo Beach; a favorite get away where she could relax, reflex, and enjoy the coastal breeze. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Hahn, mother Barbara Hahn, brother Jeff Hahn, and husband Chuck Trowbridge. She is survived by her brother John Hahn and his wife Madeline as well as children John (Katie) Hahn, Courtnee Hahn, Mark Hahn, Corinne (Justin) Pettit, Meyer Wilson, cousin Raylene (Mike) Paustian, as well as niece and nephews.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at The Pointe at The Summit for the compassionate care provided to Judy.

Judy will be remembered for her kind heart, love of life, her dedication to her students, and the joy she brought to every room. Her legacy of love, learning, and laughter will live in the hearts of all that knew her.

Judy's Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 at Woolgrowers Restaurant, 620 E. 19th Street Bakersfield.
