Judy Hansen, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, passed away on April 14,2024, in Gulfport, Mississippi. Her journey began on December 18, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, where she brought joy and warmth into the world.
Judy's passion for life was evident in everything she did. From hosting movie and game nights to creating delicious family meals - especially desserts that brought smiles to faces - she poured her heart into every moment. Her storytelling abilities were legendary, with tales of the past captivating all who listened.
One of Judy's proudest accomplishments was becoming known as MawMaw to her grandchildren. Her fun-loving spirit and the front porch stories she shared will be cherished forever by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "C.L." Hansen; her infant son, Martin Hansen: her parents, Julian and Mabel Zambrowski; her brothers, Lester Rowell, Raymond Rowell, Jimmy Rowell, Jerry Rowell, and Johnny Zambrowski
Among those grieving her loss are her sons, Adam "Al" Hansen (JoEllen) and David Hansen (Jennifer); her sister, Catherine Breland; her brothers, Bobby Zambrowski and Donald Zambrowski. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren,: Adam Jr., Tina (Bryan), Kristopher (Shelby), David Jr. (Kyrstan), Jeannie (Louis), Sable; as well as her great-grandchildren: Trinity, Gavin, Rhyan, Charlie, Rhett, Lily, Lilah, Carter, Kimmy, Henry, Elizabeth, and Delilah.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, April 20, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
